What are the requirements

SharePoint online is a service in the cloud accessible with a web browser.

As it is through a web browser, there is few requirements (they are not even really listed on Microsoft page).

So far, the main point is to have a stable internet connection.

What we have internally tested:

operating system

Windows 8 and 10, Mac os, Linux ubuntu

Web browser

At least internet explorer 11, edge, chrome, safari

Office document online editing didn’t require any software installed on your computer.

Special requirement

For Editing document within Office suite (Word, excel… installed on your computer) or to have track changes in document: Office 2013 suite at the latest ( some issue spotted with office 2007), on Windows or Mac Os
