Opening documents with Online editor

SharePoint have an online editor for several type of files.

Please note that the Online editor could be deactivated on some sites for specific purpose

The default option (online vs on your pc client) can be fine tuned site by site.

If you deliberately want to open the Online editor ( in case no office software are installed on your computer)

Click on the ellipsis in front our document, go to “open” and select “open in Word online” (or Excel Online, PowerPoint online…)
