Initial Access

To access Vista Trials each user needs an account (created by the administrator) based on a unique email address. A temporary password to access Vista Trials is then generated and provided by email.

Login

The login requires the (unique) email address linked to the account and the password.

Temporary Password

Initially, a temporary password is generated and provided by an automatic email. This temporary password (only valid for 24 hrs) allows a user to login and to define a personal password. It does not provide direct access to the Vista Trials modules, access is only possible once the user changed this temporary password into his or her personal password. 

Password Requirements

 

Anytime you change your password, including changing your very first temporary password right after the setup of your account, it must meet following conditions:

  • Contain at least 8 characters
  • Contain at least 1 upper case
  • Contain at least 1 lower case
  • Contain at least 1 digit

Forgot Password

The login screen contains a 'forgot password' link which allows you to reset your password with a new temporary password (sent to you by email).

Expiration

Any password expires after a period of 90 days. At the first login after this expiration the system requires you to change your password, see password requirements.

Locked Account

After three wrong consecutive password entries (at login or when trying to sign off data in the signature studio), or when the temporary password has expired (only valid for 24 hrs) the system locks the account. A user can unlock the account via the forgot your password link.

Log off

An automatic log off occurs after an idle period of 15 minutes. A user can manually log off via the log off button in the header.
