Users that have the rights to register subjects of different sites will then need to select the appropriate institution and press 'Register'.Image Removed

Once the registration is initiated, a SubjectID will be allocated. Depending on the setup of the study, the registration will collect subject details, other data or perhaps no data at all. If the study has no forms linked to the registration, the registration activity is automatically closed (finalized) immediately once 'Register' was clicked, and the user will be directed to the next activity of that study. If the study has some data collection as part of the registration, then all forms part of it need to be completed and submitted before the registration can be finalized.

Duplication test

If the registration has data collected, then a duplication test could be part of your study, depending on the design of that study. If so, after submitting the registration form(s), you can click the 'Run Duplication Test' button.

Such duplication test will compare some patient data, collected at registration, with other subjects within that same site, and if the newly to register subject could perhaps be a duplicate entry of an already registered subject, you will be asked to check and cancel this second registration or confirm it is a unique subject anyway.
